We will verify your event listing, if we can, against other postings and venue schedules. We reserve the right to edit for style and to omit events we can't verify. We may reach out with additional questions to help validate.
How we curate: Listings are pulled from venues' official calendars and social media, and every link points to the venue's own ticketing or info page — you always buy directly from the source.
What we don't do: Get Out! Nashville doesn't sell tickets or handle customer service for any listing (unless we're directly sponsoring it). Ticket and event questions go to the venue or provider.
What we don't list: Drink specials, karaoke, and trivia aren't included due to volume — our picks are curated for variety across venues and experiences. Inclusion is at editors' discretion.

Get Out! Nashville highlights the shows, pop-ups, and one-time events worth building your week around — not everything happening in the city, but the stuff we think is worth your time.
We love some karaoke. We love some drinks. But the sheer volume of karaoke, bingo, trivia, drink specials is too large and schedules shift too often for us to keep track of. That being said, we love a great recurring night, and may highlight a favorite from time to time.
Our regular venue list includes spots that regularly host musical events, dance parties, theater productions, and shows we genuinely think you should know about. We don't have every single venue in Nashville as a part of the regular list. If you think we should add a venue, email us, we'll be happy to consider it. Included venues are usually ones that regularly post their events in advance and have verifiable postings on their social media or official website pages.
We do use the help of automations to gather event information, but we check every week's listings with our own human eyeballs and brains. That being said, mistakes could happen. We're happy to state corrections, but some event changes may happen after publication date. The links will take you to the official venue ticket link or venue post. I'm a Nashville local since 2010, and a frequent visitor to the area from childhood. Yes, I visited Opryland and rode the Wabash Cannonball and The Chaos. I knew Old Nashville, and worked downtown during the New Nashville glowup. This weekly list is a passion project. I do it because I want to, and I believe it is something people can use. We are not influencers, and aim to give you information with authenticity for the experience, with respect to the reader first.
Get Out! Nashville is a free service for readers, and will not use paywalls or subscription costs at this time to access our weekly lists and guides. At the moment, we are advertisement-free, but in the event that we do provide advertisements, we plan to approach it in a reader-first mentality.
There is no cost to include an event listing. We curate for variety in our weekly Must-Go lists and monthly guides, and each list is always an unpaid service. Each week is a curated highlight, edited by us.
