Welcome to Get Out! Nashville (“Get Out,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of our website, newsletters, and any related Get Out digital properties (collectively, the “Site”).

By accessing or using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

Get Out is a curated editorial publication highlighting events, venues, and experiences. We provide discovery and context—not official event management or ticketing services.

We are not the event organizer, venue operator, or ticket seller. Event details may change at any time. Users are responsible for confirming all details directly with the official event source.

Unless otherwise stated, all content on the Site—including but not limited to:

• written editorial content
• curated listings and descriptions
• original selection, organization, and presentation of information
• branding, logos, graphics, and visual design
   

is the property of Get Out and is protected by U.S. and international copyright, trademark, and unfair competition laws.

The curation itself—including how events are selected, grouped, framed, and described—is a protected editorial work.

Get Out grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Site for personal, non-commercial purposes only.

This license does not permit:

• reproduction, duplication, or redistribution of content
   
• creation of derivative works
   
• commercial use of any kind
   
• automated extraction or aggregation of content
   

All rights not expressly granted are reserved by Get Out! Nashville.

You agree not to:

• Scrape, crawl, harvest, mine, or extract content or data from the Site using automated tools, scripts, bots, or similar technologies
• Copy or republish Get Out’s curated listings, editorial content, or presentation in bulk
• Use Site content to create or support a competing product, database, or service
• Circumvent or attempt to bypass technical measures designed to protect the Site
• Misrepresent Get Out as an official source for events or venues
   

Permission must be obtained in writing for any use outside personal, non-commercial viewing.

Unauthorized automated access to the Site is prohibited. This includes scraping for training data, commercial aggregation, or redistribution.

We reserve the right to:

• block automated access
• limit request rates
• restrict IP addresses or user agents
• pursue available legal remedies for misuse
   

Compliance with robots.txt is expected but does not replace these Terms.

You may:

• Share links to Get Out pages or newsletters
• Quote brief excerpts for commentary or review with clear attribution and a link back to Get Out
   

You may not republish full listings, calendars, or curated collections.

While we strive for accuracy, the Site is provided “as is” and “as available.” We make no guarantees regarding completeness, timeliness, or accuracy of event information.

Get Out disclaims responsibility for:

• event cancellations or changes
• ticket availability or pricing
• venue policies or experiences
• losses incurred from reliance on Site content
   

Use of the Site is at your own discretion.

The Site may include links to third-party websites. We do not control or endorse those sites and are not responsible for their content, policies, or practices.

By subscribing to our newsletter, you consent to receive emails from Get Out. You may unsubscribe at any time. We do not sell or rent subscriber email addresses.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Get Out! Nashville shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from or related to your use of the Site.

In no event shall Get Out’s total liability exceed the amount you paid us, if any, in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Get Out! Nashville from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from:

• your misuse of the Site
• violation of these Terms
• unauthorized use of Site content
   

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the Site at any time, without notice, for conduct that violates these Terms or harms the integrity of the Site.

We may update these Terms periodically. Changes take effect when posted. Continued use of the Site constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Tennessee, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
